I’m beginning a regular blogger. Kindda, sorta, semi-blogger. Ok, maybe not. I’m trying though!

Anyway. The only new thing I *really* have to talk about is that i downloaded Ekiga Softphone the other day so that I can view video while I chat with peoples. Some people like to be seen, and I like seeing. It is a win/win situation. *L* The person I downloaded it for immediately turned on the video, and then all of his kids wanted to show off their new clothes & toys they’d gotten since I last saw them. It was fantastic!

The only other thing I have to report is that I <3 Twitter. I have said so before, I know. But I’ve met some people that crack me up, and it is great to be able to talk to them and not focus on the shit that happens in real life. So, ifn you don’t yet have Twitter, consider stopping by and signing up!

On the home front, we had a great evening. I made potato salad, A brought home beans & grilled out the dogs & sausages. We had sweet tea. The company was perfect (just those of us that live here, but still – how does it get any better than spending time with the people you CHOOSE to be your family?), the atmosphere was fun, and the food was perfect. Life is good.

Do any of you have particular recipes you use for potato salad? I sort of wing it every time I make it, but I found the best of my batches are when I do this:

In a bowl, combine a teaspoon of vinegar, a cup of Hellmann’s Real Mayonaise, sprinkle of salt, a pinch of pepper, a couple of chopped Claussen Kosher Dill Pickle Sandwich Slices (I use 3 sandwich slices), the yolk of three hard boiled eggs, and 1/2 – to – 1 teaspoon of mustard (whatever floats your boat). I mix this stuff together first, then toss in the chopped-up-whites of the three eggs and 4-8 chopped, boiled (and COOLED) potatoes (use your brain here: 4 large, 8 small, or any mix of the two). Mix gently so you don’t break up the potatoes. Serve chilled.
